Not necessarily, his excellent record id against NZ and Australia who have a lot of batsmen who are ODI type batsmen who lack patience to play long innings. We have a greater number of test type batsmen although Bairstow, Stokes and Buttler have yet prove they are test players capable of gritty long innings. One of the reasons why Taylor is unlucky not to be playing in this game.
