I asked this question in the first test, had there ever been a bowler to open the batting after bowling 30 overs in an innings. I dont think we came up with a name.

Bell's footwork looks poor and has done for the the last year or so. He used to be so good around the crease. And now he goes. *modded*.

the correlation between the demise of his defensive technique and his return to the ODI squad is very strong

two best batsmen in, one of these needs to go big otherwise we are facing a very tough task in this game

Not been in the ODI squad recently, he has no excuses
