Assuming that Costa is retrospectively banned, he will miss Stoke (a), Norwich (h), Spurs (a), Bmouth (h). (It would be his second offence of the season, hence it should be a four match ban rather than the basic three match ban).

Im enjoying seeing Chelsea struggle.

Jose can not be in a job for much longer, seems clueless to the situation he finds himself in.

Top 4 looking very tough at the moment, but they do have the players that could put a good run together.

I have defended LVG a lot but 3 0-0's and we look poor. I thought Everton was a good sign but it's not even just Rooney, no one pushes for the win. No one shoots. It's all quite poor and it's not even bad form.

Nice to see Joel Campbell get a start for Arsenal and also getting a goal.

He might well be getting some more game time over the coming weeks due to injuries.

Watching the highlights, it's quite clear to me that Mikel was also very lucky not to be sent off. Players (rightly) get booked all the time now for waving an imaginary card. But having decided against giving Lucas a second yellow for the foul, I can understand Clattenburg also deciding against giving Mikel a second yellow at the same time.

Had Lucas gone though, then I'd like to think that Mikel would have duly followed. So one red card avoided by Liverpool, but two by Chelsea (when you include Costa's kick).
