Some pointless, artificial record based on notion that football was created in 1992.

Bit harsh, we should be celebrating the fact that an Englishman who nearly gave up the game a few years ago has a chance of breaking it in this day and age.

Don't get me wrong, I think what he has done is brilliant. And I'd love him to go on and break the actual record - which is not this alternative record that is based on, as I say, the notion that football was created in 1992. My post is directed more at the media, than at Vardy.

12 consecutive games is the English top flight record, not 10.

Sunderland stole the points after a howler by the defender and keeper. Palace are pretty rank at home, just as well they pick up points on the road.
