And I can say with almost absolute certainty that he never meant it. He just wanted to put his laces through it and see.

Still, a quality strike though. As was the performance as a whole. Could, and should, have been more than 4-0. Amazing what we can do when we've got some pace up front, as opposed to Pelle.

What would you say would constitute a good season for Chelsea at this point?

They can still make Champions League, if they go on a decent run.

Win the FA Cup and get to the semis of the Champions League would be a decent return from here, although unlikely.

Looked like he meant it to me, the way he struck it? Whatever he meant, the end result was sublime.
