Not the worst 0-0. I watched most of the first half, and Utd played well.

That's probably it for LVG. If i was him, i'd resign.

This squad is absolutely awful.

300m spent in 3 years. Maybe more people than just LVG need to resign?

Defeat would have almost certainly got LVG the sack.

I have a feeling that point may have delayed the inevitable for a week.

Now that Jose has gone, the most under-performing PL manager is not LVG, in my opinion. Step forward Roberto Martinez for that accolade.

At the half way stage of the season, a side containing Lukaku, Barkley, Stones, Baines, Coleman, Deulofeu, Mirallas, as well as numerous other players with bags of PL experience, who are not burdened by European football, find themselves in the bottom half of the table and are the same distance away from the relegation zone as they are from the top four. Leicester, Watford, Stoke, Palace and West Ham are all above them, whilst ourselves and WBA are within three points of them.

Leicester v Man City could be a good game tonight. City have dodgy firm away from home.

One of Sterling's better performances away from home.

De Bruyne, however, continues to disappoint in away games.

It wouldn't be the biggest surprise if there are some more high-profile managerial sackings soon. Van Gaal & Pellegrini are both underachieving this season.

Fergie's thoughts reflect internal MUFC board power struggle. He's desperate to have someone under his control (not Woodward's) as next boss
Fergie previously against LVG hence Co92 bashing him. He now backs LVG to stop Mourinho taking over. His own interests above club as always.
Woodward wants to keep LVG so he's not responsible for appointing 2 failures. Equally keen to avoid Giggs as boss to stop Fergie power grab.

Red Issue

Kind of explains Scholes u-turn.

After tonight's result it is becoming likely that relegation is Aston Villa, Sunderland and one from Newcastle, Swansea, Norwich, West Brom and us.

Transfer window opens in a few hours time. This window is notorious for teams paying over the odds for a small number of available players. Probably a large number of loan deals will be made with teams trying to save on wage bills and get players game time.

We are bringing in a guy called Juan Iturbe from Roma for a 1.1m loan fee and an option to buy. Described as the 'new Lionel Messi', a 22 year old diminutive Argentinian winger/striker has failed to live up to his big transfer from Verona to Roma.

On the other side of the coin Matt Ritchie is rumoured to be linked to a transfer to Everton and Man U, something we could really do without.

Signing of Juan Iturbe is now official.

A stat given out by Sky Sports is that he has over 300 thousand followers on Twitter whereas the club he is joining only has 100k.

Not that I've got a clue what that means!

Basically it means there are too many Argentinian football fans with too much time on their hands.
