Messi wants to stay at Barca. His buy out clause is 250m euros so nothing will happen.

If Messi intimated he wanted to go and try and make his mark outside of La Liga, then the Premier League with the manager that first took him to prominence may be a goer.

Of course it makes it more likely, but I believe a deal of that magnitude would not be possible in a world where FPP still apparently exists. For a start, you are going to have to go over the 150million mark, thats a definate. And he is on 16 million wages a year at the best club in the world, so what wage are you going to have to pay him to make him leave? You are talking, over a 3 year contract, an investment of at least 200 million, if not 250-300 million. Its too unbelievable to happen.

I personally want to see him go to PSG, just because of their chairman's threat to Barcelona over Thaigo Silva. I believe Barcelona were lining up a bid for Silva after finding out his buy out clause was surprisingly low, and the Chairman made a threat that if Barcelona forced his clause, then he would personally front the money to match whatever buy out Messi had, and then offer him personally a wage that he wouldnt be able to refuse..... and that he would do it, despite FPP, just to piss off Barca, taking whatever UEFA punishment was given.

Goalless at half-time, but Watford look threatening, in particular that strike duo of Ighalo and Deeney.

Are they the new Barnes and Blissett?

Looks like Jose will end up at Old Trafford. Pep vs Jose comes to Manchester. I'm guessing Pep is leading their head to head, though he has a little way to go to match Jose's overall record.

Pep's never done a Porto, and never will. Winning the CL with City would be an achievement. Maybe retaining it would put him at the same level.

Maybe not a good idea to announce a new manager midweek before an important game

I'm surprised they're favourites. Will Spurs be,if they get past Watford?

It will all come down to bottle at the run in.

Teams get nervous and points get dropped.

Leicester haven't been in this position but I would love to see them win it.
