Bloody hell. I went into the kitchen to make a cuppa. In that time Young Rashford gets another double.

Amazing what happens when you play a striker who wants to score, who wants to impress - as opposed to one who has seen his best days and is happy collecting £300k a week.

Right then Arsenal, a lifeline. You have little option but to take it over the remaining 50 minutes.

It always amazes me how people can criticise Wayne Rooney.

He has recently broken Bobby Charlton's long standing England goal-scoring record and is closing in on his club record.

But hey, the bloke can't play.

Massive congratulations to Rooney for scoring all those goals against Andorra, Macedonia, Lithuania and San Marino. World class that.

And anyway, I never said that he wasn't good once upon a time.

A little like how Ronaldo got some nonsense about bad form. It's seems like there are plenty whose performance can be criticised before Rooney etc. are.

It's easy to forget that Charlton played in an era when England were thrashing opponents by 6,8 & 10 goals so he helped himself to easy goals as well

I don't disagree with you there at all. Indeed, I was never comparing him to Charlton - you were.

Ironically enough, whilst on this subject, I have just learnt that Rooney and Rashford were both 18 years and 120 days old when they scored their first PL double.
