Given City's vastly superior GD, they would only need a 22 points from 12 games to match that (but more realistically something around the 16 point mark). Utd might yet pip City to 4th, and there is the smallest of small chances that Liverpool might. But no way are Chelsea pipping them to 4th.

Spurs were my slim favourites going into this weekend. Now they are my absolute favourites. And if they go and beat Arsenal next weekend, only Leicester could prevent them from winning it in my view. Go Poch!

Given this weekend's results and the upcoming fixtures over the next seven, this could well be the pivotal week. Particularly for Leicester and Spurs.

West Ham away and Arsenal at home. If Spurs win both of them, I fail to see how anyone can't make them favourites (even if Leicester beat WBA and Watford, like they should, and therefore maintain their one point lead over Spurs). Arsenal would have dropped a further three points back (maybe more, if they don't beat Swansea), and City could easily fail to win at Anfield.

On the other hand, a couple of draws for Spurs coupled with two Leicester wins, and you can almost start to inscribe Leicester's name on the trophy.

Failure to beat Spurs and Liverpool respectively would pretty much leave Arsenal and City needing snookers - and just holding off Utd could prove to be a bigger task than catching 1st (like Leicester, Utd too have WBA and Watford).

When is he not? Second best keeper in the league in my view, after De Gea.

How things could have different had Real not messed about in the summer in relation to De Gea (Lloris by all accounts was lined up as Utd's replacement). Spurs, Lloris and Utd all winning, De Gea and Spurs' title rivals all very much less so.
