I'm almost banking on it. I noticed last week that palace had been quietly accumulating 2 points in 10 games... and now they've lost again. It'd be brilliant if Newcastle stayed up at the expense of Pardew

Poor Pardew, he only does purple patches and losing streaks, nothing in between.

Not sure Newcastle fans can be too down on him, he did reasonably well during his time there, and with his hands tied tightly it was no surprise he went to Palace when the job came up. Results have gone south since he left mind, so maybe they blame him for leaving them to the mercies of Carver and McClaren.

I like the guy, and even had sympathy with him after the infamous headbutt incident.
