Vardy has shown in the last two games that we need to find a place in the starting eleven for him. Providing he isn't knackered by the end of season (which doesn't seem likely) you know he will give his all for the cause and has the pace and form to trouble any side in the competition.

I think with Woy it's more likely he'll be replacing the "a" in sack with a "u".

He does love Milner and Rooney.... Oxlade-Chamberlain too... I expect all to play

I think Vardy in the last two games has shown he has some ability, but I think at times with the ball played to feet he looked a little lost yesterday.... much more comfortable chasing down people.

I see him as a possible effective second half sub, or if it comes to it, the last person a defender wants to see in extra time

I think Roy will be very conservative going into the first game of the tournament. It'll be a big occasion for everyone, and it probably requires some experienced heads. If we're lucky, there may be a few unfortunate injuries early in the comp that force him to re-evaluate things. A bit like Sir Bobby had to in 1986 when Capt Marvel got injured, and Butch Wilkins got sent off, in the first game... was that '86? I remember nothing clearly these days. Beardsley and Lineker ended up gelling really well together

England women are struggling like hell against Belgium

After starting brightly and putting loads of pressure on the Belgians, England's goalie air kicked on the edge of her box and presented Belgium with a simple goal. Although that was against the run of play, since the goal Belgium have battered England, who look shaken and probably can't wait for half time.

England don't score many goals at the best of times, so quite where they are going to find 2 goals from is a real conundrum

We do look weak in the CB department. Cahill will probably start with Smalling. Stones, and Jagielka as cover.
