I've needed every one of Borthwick's 188 just to keep ahead of you. It wouldn't take many wickets to get ahead of me

Appart from Murtagh my best wicket takers are resting or injured, Chris rRead, Hogan, Rikki Clarke and Barker. The Durham bowlers refuse to provide enough fine snicks to Richardson which doesn't help.

we are now at the stage where every wicket and every few runs turns the match around between us, hope. the runs per wicket thing has me ahead by less than 0.5 atm... and that's assuming I haven't missed the odd run or two

I should have DA beaten here, by my calculations unless Proctor can somehow salvage his team with about 300 runs this afternoon, I cant be caught.

I have plus 20 wickets to his 8....
I have about 400 runs to his 280... I believe in less innings played...

rain has ended play at Canterbury meaning that 2 of my players have managed to achieve very little.

match situation with 3 matches left...... I've closed the run gap between me and hope to about 20, with Brown hanging in there for Lancs and Roderick still to bat for Gloucs, so I might be able to turn that deficit around as long as bailey doesn't do something stupid like score a hundred (Shantry )

I am, I think, 7 wickets ahead of hope, but the Kent/Leics washout deprives me of 2/3 of my wicket taking options. Rayner is unlikely to take wickets for me, but equally Murtagh is running out of wicket taking opportunities for hope, so that leaves Shantry and Morris as the danger men..... that's where hope can snatch victory on the afternoon of the final day

losing on the final day to a big wicket haul is becoming almost guaranteed for me this year, so hope is in with every chance..... and a rainy afternoon would suit me very nicely in that match

If Roderick decides to 'do a Gale' (*modded* Gale... tosser ) and have a crack at scoring 315 runs in 2 sessions, then I could be well and truly stuffed and could lose this match by tea time. If he doesn't think much of the idea and decides to bat properly to secure the draw, then I think I've probably got enough
