Wonder what lead Pakistan get now.
Reckon Pakistan would need a lead around 150.

Scary part for england is that now 3 of their best batsman are batting, Misbah, Shafiq and keeper.
they also got younis khan that generally would fight for his wicket especially if pakistan got a sniff of victory.

a lot of away team could learn from pakistan from this tour been mentally right all tour and have prepared quite well for a modern tour schedule.
some of the bigger teams could learn from it.

Also good to see team making a change to improve the side rather than stick with the same team.

Far too many times teams leave it late to make changes that are very obvious and stick with the same team.

Enjoyed that today apart from Anderson's disgraceful behaviour.
After an early loss the expectation was probably that Pakistan would fold - but they showed excellent application and it was a great partnership for the second wicket.
Bit mystified by Cook's bowling changes - Woakes in form and on his home ground should have had the second new ball - Anderson and Broad have far too much influence no matter how good their records are.

Game really nicely poised. Well played Ali and Aslam- showed England how to bat.

generally most pitches in england have become slow and low.

only a few grounds have the pace/bounce that the england bowlers are craving.

Have to admire the way these two batsmen have played here. Not taking any chances ; watchful , but quick to pick up their singles when they can... Azhar had his bit of luck ; but they are weathering some pretty handy bowling right at the moment ; and in doing so potentially setting things up for Misbah and co later on.

I was not impressed by the way Anderson grabbed his sweater and cap from the umpire. If he had a problem with the decision he could have used a review. Good thing he didn't because it wasn't even close. Instead Anderson directed a verbal chuntering at the umpire a la kohli.

Newman talking about a possible suspension for Anderson if so it be about time considering he been pushing the mark for a while now they really need to be strict on this stuff.
