yep they will take the draw but if Spin bowl most of the overs they may try and go for the win especially since Spinner generally go for 5 runs an over without much trouble for Pakistan.

if spin bowl more than 30 overs today then pakistan could be in a position to win but Misbah will probably take the draw anyway.

For a vulnerable or a batting line up people are always questioning pakistan have actually batted well in this tour.
If Australia or india batted like this they would have done so much better in England at recent times.

Australia in particular.

Really on paper I would class Pakistan/England batting the same in ability with England probably edging it because they have depth in the batting.
Really the pakistan vulnerabilities are similar to England considering they have Hales, Vince, Ballance, Ali etc.

343 is just high enough to get the draw.

Reckon Moeen overs should be interesting in this game since he could make england nervous in the afternoon session.
Especially if pakistan need 100 or so to win in 15-18 overs.

On a slow pitch at Lords and this batting paradise they've done well but the moment there was some bounce at Trent Bridge they were lost.

Much like India on their last two visits.

Ok they may struggle technically in the bouncier wickets but something about the pakistani mentality suggest they won't give up either and will make sure they get the most they can as a group.
Australlia/india basically surrenders in those conditions they got in england or in Australia case any conditions that the ball moves a bit.


India could play bounce so they really shouldn't be dismissed less than 100 with such ease 4 or 5 innings in a row same with australia with the swing or seam or whatever happened in TB/Edgebaston.

Was really talking more about the mental aspect than the technical ability when comparing pakistan to Australia or India.

Really india/Australia should have done way better with the bat in some of the england test especially india since the wicket in Old trafford/oval were flat and they cope with the pace and bounce so no idea how they struggled so badly with the bat.
