Sabbir Rahman got 3 pt, mortaza 1 and Buttler 1 and Jadeja got 3.

This system started on the 22th September.
Not sure why the bangladeshi players got a fine and buttler didn't or why Stokes isn't included in this or Tamim Iqbal for the matter.

The reason the punishment was different for the two Bangladesh players is because it was judged that their behaviour started the confrontation and Buttler reacted. So they were punished more for that reason.

might be the case, but doesn't help the situation.
really in a tic for tac situation all players should get the same punishment or none at all.
it is really a fact that players/fans think ICC are unfair/biased in punishments and this doesn't help that.

English/Australian players think indian/asian players get away with things.
Indian/Asian players think english/Australian players get away with things.
than the new one where non big 3 players thinks players from the big 3 nations get away with things.

Agree with Sussex that ICC need to have a consistent policy in handing punishment to sledging and aggression and the need to define what is acceptable and what is not.

I really think provocation is a poor excuse. These people are adults, if we all reacted against provocation then there would be a lot more fighting going on in this world.

Provocation is the excuse a child uses in justifying their actions.

You continue to try and make this event part of some great conspiracy and repeat time and again that England/Australia believe something they do not believe. The whole thing is a fiction you've created and repeating it over and over again doesn't make it any truer.

You have to consider that it is magnified in the heat of a game, heart pumping, adrenaline flowing. Plus we all act differently, some people are more easily wound up than others.

But if provocation is a poor excuse what is the Bangladesh players excuse for instigating the provocation, because no one on here has said a bad word about their actions?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricke ... t.htmlwhat is this Gavaskar accusing ICC of bias.

symonds/Ponting accusing icc of bias when the racism claim vanish when BCCI took action
or the english match referee that was banned and never worked again when taking action against Tendulkar and indian players in SA.

we essentially had an indian claim ICC is bias and then we had an Aussie claim icc is bias.

I suggest you read 2008 monkeygate and see what the australian players thought of it.

lol here is Sir viv accuses ICC over bias to india.
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/sir-vivian-ric ... am-1557554
so we basically have people accusing icc for being biased to india and then at the same time have India and in particular the media say icc is biased towards england and Australia.

When the slapgate or whatever it was called happen, didn't the indian media/gavaskar and big indian players from the past accuse ICC for being biased and allowing Anderson to get away with it.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/cricke ... uggle.html

Then, Mike Denness disciplined six India players, including Sachin Tendulkar, after a Test against South Africa in Port Elizabeth and banned Virender Sehwag for one Test. India refused to accept the verdict, South Africa backed them and then refused Denness entry to the ground for the next Test. The ICC had to deem the game a 'five-day friendly' instead of a Test.

Now Procter is in the

eye of the storm after finding

Harbhajan guilty of one of the most reviled offences in sport. 'I am South African and I understand the word racism,' he said by way of justification on Monday.

It is a brave call because the umpires did not hear what was said between Harbhajan and Symonds, Australia captain Ricky Ponting reporting the spinner to Bucknor and Benson when Symonds and Matt Hayden told him what

Harbhajan is alleged to have said.

The only other player in ear-shot was Tendulkar, who was batting with Harbhajan and backs his team-mate. The ICC's problem, in the absence of audio evidence, will be proving the claim in the face of Indian intimidation. Essentially,

t was then that India fans were accused of making monkey noises at Symonds and bad feeling has barely been beneath the surface in the current series. If Harbhajan is guilty — and surely this is not something Symonds would make up — then the book needs to be thrown at him and the ICC, for once, have to stand up to India.

if you honestly don't think australian players don't think indian players can get away with nothing is deluded and in reality that thinking has spread to other teams.
it is a fact australian players don't like the way CA handled the matter or how ICC dropped the case.

It is pretty care that teams/players don't think the punishment is the same for all players, why else would so many people around the world claim bias.

If the umpire gives you out, the simple thing to do is just walk to the changing rooms. I'm not sure it really matters how much the opposition celebrates your wicket. You've been given out, you don't need to hang around. your contribution to the match is over. Yes your upset with the dismissal, and your own performance, but going up and having a go at the opposition for their celebrations is not going to help anything.

lol just last week BCCI accused ICC for being biased to england over the budget for the champions trophy.
http://www.thehansindia.com/posts/index ... CCI/252140
If you honestly think that players don't think icc are bias then you are deluded.
Why else do you think Red, My self, Mike etc alway say Anderson gets away with it, or Mike attacking England for always sledging or being agressive or england not liking it when other teams do it back to them.
or why indian commentators and media always claim ICC are bias toward england, Australia that only Subcontinent players get punished or fined.

No question about it a lot of the needle is caused by the ICC not being uniform in the fines and punishment.

Wouldn't surprise me if this winter Jadeja does something stupid to Anderson because of what Anderson did in 2014 or if Kohli is uber aggressive to the English team this winter because of the sledging and the aggression england players did in 2014.

Is that what cricket is now, teams being aggressive/sledging because of what happened in the past.

My word for a 22 year old you do live in the past. Regurgitating old rare statements from players long since out of the game hardly supports the broad claims you keep making. I suggest that it's you who believe that England/Australia get better treatment from the ICC and and dredging up comments from a few players of the past is simply a smokescreen to hide your own belief of bias against Asian countries.

Think you might need to think again.
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/ ... key-arthur
Meanwhile, Ponting says powerful Indian cricket authorities had a hand in the chain of events that prematurely ended the Test career of Australia all-rounder Andrew Symonds.

Ponting said the Board of Control for Cricket in India influenced the handling of the so-called “Monkeygate” affair which followed the Test between Australia and India in Sydney in 2008. India spinner Harbhajan Singh was accused of racially abusing Symonds and was suspended for three matches but his penalty was reduced on appeal.

Ponting suggests the BCCI used its power to influence that decision and Symonds’s loss of trust in Cricket Australia set in train the circumstances that led to the end of his Test career.

it is a fact and been mentioned by a lot of players in Australia that they believe it.

“I knew how powerful Indian cricket was, everyone did,” Ponting said. “But at the same time, I know how powerful racism is in society as well.

“And I know as an Australian cricket captain, or a member of society in Australia, I have to do whatever I can to make sure that doesn’t happen anywhere around me. I was told every day, every week by Cricket Australia that we had to stamp it out of the game.

“And [when] it did [happen], I had to make a stand against it. I followed the instructions to the letter. I did everything I was expected to do. I know there are a lot of administrators in Cricket Australia who can’t say the same thing.”

Ponting said the lack of support from Cricket Australia “was the start of the end for Andrew Symonds.

All I would say is that australian players don't trust ICC or CA to make the right decision if something happens again involving india because the money/politics involved.
So that clearly proves my point that Australian thinks indian players get away with things.
So on record we have Gavaskar accuses ICC for bias, Australian players accusing ICC for bias, we even had loads of indian former players/media accuses ICC of english bias when the slap gate was going on.

So would love to know where the fiction is.

And what you think ICC is fair and balanced.

in these cases ICC should give the same punishment to both sides or none at all.
this half-half punishment basically causes issues and top of that the punishment is so small that teams/players think it is fine to continue to do so.

Surprised how Stokes or Tamim didn't get punished either.

Not sure I will say ponting or the 2008 Australian team are long out of the game considering it took years for Australia to forget what happened in 2008 and Can imagine if any conflict between India and Australia, the monkeygate will be brought up.

Maybe you think ICC is fair and balanced but many people don't and like I just proven Australian cricketers don't and I pretty sure most players in the world don't either when it comes to sledging and Aggression.
Why else would Dhoni make so much fuss to teach Anderson a lesson and with some cricket journalist stating that Anderson is hated by most teams and most teams don't like england behaviour in the cricket field.
Highly doubt Dhoni thinks ICC is fair when he sees Anderson/Jadeja get away with it when they have bargies.
