Seems like at present there are 5 really poor teams at the bottom this season.

I guess West ham, Stoke and Swansea should get out of it.......

Seems like a very controversial red card in the Arsenal game.

Bournemouth cruising at present. Looks like its finally going to be Sunderland year to go down.

Sunderland had two points from eight games last season too, as I recall. I also think I'm right in saying that this is the third successive year which they have failed to win a PL in August or September.

Given that it's Sunderland, I'd suggest it's far too early to write them off just yet. Still ages of time to do their usual tactic of sacking their manager, and going on a wonder end of the season run. Especially given that, as in previous season, there is enough rubbish ahead of them (the three promoted teams in particular) to no doubt ensure that Sunderland don't actually fall that far behind over the course of the opening 20 games.

But yes, on paper they are easily one of the worst three sides in the league in my view.

This season there appears to be a few bad teams at the bottom. Burnley, Hull, Sunderland and Middlesbrough all look like they will be fighting it out.

Stoke and West Hams wins might just be the start of something, whilst Swansea played ok against Arsenal, and there does seem to be some optimism there.

Yep, even at this early stage, it's looking like three from those four. The other three sides who you've mentioned should all have enough quality/experience to survive (and can all spend money in January if required), whilst the likes of WBA, Watford and Bmouth will continue to pick up points as they go along.

Christ Burnley were poor today. In fact, all three newly promoted teams have illustrated this weekend why I'm not assuming that this will finally be the year where Sunderland are made to pay for their awful starts to the season.
