I think Man U and general football fans forget that when United were playing games like this, they also parked the bus. Fergie would always shove in a Sun Ji Park to run around a lot and offer no creativity whatsoever.

Yet, I seem to be hearing that Fergie had a suicidal tactical blueprint for away games, all Tora!Tora!Tora!....

Where did I say I approved of ferguson slagging off referees? You certainly jump to conclusions.

This is a cancer that has been afflicting football for years. No respect for match officials. Gingerfinch posted something this year about refereeing a match and how difficult it was.

I am tired of overpaid players ganging up on match officials. I am tired of overpaid managers being disrespectful to referees after a match. I have no time for managers who do it before a match.

These officials earn a fraction of what those spoilt brats earn.

Anything we get from these types of games is a bonus still for me.

We got hammered 5-1 last season after going 1-0 up. Kane had been woeful up to that point but got into some form with a hat trick. Obviously not playing this time.

I'll take a draw but even if we get nothing, we've got three games coming up against teams at the bottom after this, which will be when we need to take points.

But with two very offensive fullbacks. It's the way Poch likes it.

Unlike a couple of media favourite's managers, he is someone who appreciates that winning is simply about scoring.

Bournemouth have spent, what, £80-90 million in 14 months.

Supposedly about 70 million over the last 2 seasons, with about 20 million coming back the other way.

Not to mention a transfer embargo when they drop back into the championship.....

But they have only spent about 80 million in the last 10 years, mostly of it in the last 2 season.


It is a lot of money, and the fact that they could spend 15 million on one player shows the purchasing power of teams in the premiership.

Yes, that helps, got to spend a fair bit to survive, and to even get promotion in the first place. Mind you Man U spent that in one second!

Referee could have sent 3 Spurs players off today, but we don't do well against 10 men, so I'm happy it stayed 11-11.

Take those figures. Bournemouth have had 14 months in the Premier League, and have spent on average 25 million net on transfers per season, with this season unfinished (in jan last year they signed an 18 million pound player!). Which is the same as Liverpool in the last 5 years on average, 25 times higher than Tottenham!!!

In fact, considering this five year league table is done on assuming that every team was in the league all five years, when you look at all the teams with a higher spend, factor in how mnay years that is, you are pretty much left with Bournemouth in about 5th place.

The fact we should celebrate them for their success, ok I let you have it, buying players is important and they have done well with the money they have spent...... but they are spending a lot, a tremendous amount compared to other teams!
