really isn't that surprising the new ball spinning more or having more bounce.
although looks like batting will get easier when the ball get older and you spent time in the crease.

On SKY they keep repeating that the opening batsmen would have been surprised to face spin so early but I would have thought that it was a certainty. The degree of turn is surprising for a first day pitch and it will be interesting to see the England spinners at work and see if they have the skills to take advantage of the conditions.

yeah very surprising considering it was 100% likely bangladesh would bowl spin in the first 10 overs.

Degree of turn is surprising for bangladesh, although not sure i agree with some of them that this will be the most challenging day 1 pitch this winter, probably get worse.
Highly doubt england will ever get any pitch that is flat with no turn.

Be honest at the moment it looks like the turn/bounce been exaggerated by the new ball.
