That last ball wicket was huge. England would've been demoralised if they had gone to stumps only 2 down. I expect a reverse swing initiated collapse tomorrow morning or a career saving spell from Rashid?

To be honest, Bangladesh probably only need another 80 or so runs to make this a very tough game for England. Anything 250+ would have Bangladesh as firm favourites.

Maybe not even him, I'd have Rahul over him though its debatable. Tamim definitely better than Dhawan and Gambhir though. Shakib over Rohit maybe. Could've argued for Mushfiqur over Saha a few months back but the latter has been very solid of late.

I'd agree, Tahmin is over rated in my eyes. He's played some very good innings but overall he flatters to deceive, given who Bangladesh play he should have a much better record.

Tamim had a very quiet period for about 3 years. Seems to have got this old form back in the last 18 months.

Will be interesting to see how this young fellow Mehedi gets on from here - he has certainly enjoyed a splendid start to his career.

As to the match situation : I'd agree with MS that a 250 target would be tough - but that is 120 odd runs away and Bangladesh have shown a tendency to fold up from promising positions throughout this series...perhaps more likely they'll set England around 200 ; still not a walk in the park on this pitch , but you'd fancy them to get it ...

Still not putting any money on that though : England batting seems to be leaving the rescue act later and later each innings.

Tamim is indicative of a lot of modern day batsman, in that he has to over compensate for his lack of footwork with a very impressive hand to eye coordination.

Id back a good inswing bowler in helpful conditions to get him out before hed scored anything 9 times out of 10. He plants and hits so much, even decent leg spin should get him. That gate is wide, and hes so strongly set in his stance, you'd fancy the ball coming into him will get him out.
