All rounders doing well then and 3 english players and 2 indian players in the top 5 and 6 english players in the top 10 and 4 indian players so looks like draw was the fair result so far.
surprised 3 english players were in the dud team.

Not sure how much cricket is a team game, apart from fielding. About four players can win you a match. The famous series between India and Australia in the early noughties was won by four Indian players. Hardly anyone else did anything.

Surprising Bairstow only brought about one dismissal. Haseeb caught 4/16 dismissals, which I don't think has been mentioned much.

but it needs 4 standout performances, this games didn't really have 4 standout performances and 1 of those needs to be with the ball.
for example in 2001, india had 3 batsman contributing and 1 bowler that took 32 wickets in 3 test.

India v England 2106 Fantasy League is not a young man's game. Look at the experience in this top five. If this was a tabloid article about another Rolling Stones tour, I'd get the sub-ed to add up the ages to emphasis the sheer experience in the ranks. With Ginger tucked in there as the session musician standing in for Bill Wyman, who stands at the back of the stage.

Once again, Mike leads the way. But tomorrow, who knows... Maybe Red, or Ian, or Adi will have their day at the top. Maybe after the final Test.

Interesting mid table tussle developing between Shanky and Bhaves.

This was essentially a batsman's game but the future pitches are likely to tilt the games in favour of the bowlers. So you batsmen rich teams enjoy your short-lived success.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

At times in the 80's New Zealand were pretty much Crowe and Hadlee, with the rest providing an occasional cameo.

The demographics of the first round of the Fantasy League for late 2016's marquee series looks like I've a significant phalanx of big sponsors on board to build on in the next few weeks. Particularly Radio Times, L'Oreal and UKIP.

Sadly, and surprisingly given India are involved, nothing yet from Pepsi, Honda or Lays.

Although, as Alan Hansen might say, you don't win England v India 2016 Fantasy League in November.

Or, with kids, perhaps.
