Dunno. England are batting for a draw I hope. Runs don't matter. They can dead bat back full tosses.

Yes, draw should be the target. Once they play attacking strokes , they will start losing wickets. However, full tosses and very short pitched stuff can be striked for runs.

Yes, hit the rank bad ball. Otherwise block. That stuff about playing your normal way to draw games was just an excuse for a lack of discipline (I feel). Do it the Faf way. Good work by England so far.

Or like Naseer Hussain scoring 140 in 450+ balls or something like that versus SA.

Gauti batted for one and half day i think in NZ versus kiwis to give us a draw. Thats another match saving gritty innings i remember.

Time for a wicket now and one will bring 2 and it goes on. Although they are playing well i would be surprised if England draw this. One partnership happens in every innings, and this is just partnership of 40 runs.

It's not easy, not every England partnership is going to be like this. This is exceptional one and probably the other stroke players wont be able to show as much patience as these two have. imo India are still huge favorites to win this, nothing has changed.

4 sessions is a very long time to bat out, specially on day4/5.

India firm favorites. Once India get into the middle order i would expect the innings to finish very quickly.
