he back in Zimbabwe or where ever he lives last time I heard his wife health wasn't great and he wanted to retire and stay with his family.
he not got any links with india or any cricket team anymore.
think he said coaching india was the last cricket related job he was going to do anyway.

200-6 turning into 420 all out was game over

Had we batted properly in the first innings we'd still be in it but we didn't take advantage when the pitch was at its best

We were never going to get 250 or more in this innings facing ashwin and jadeja

we're now seeing what almost everyone predicted before the series started

after losing to bangladesh in the second test it was fairly obvious india would be too good for us as they have better batsmen and better spinners than bangladesh do

the most worrying issue for me about todays play was just how comfortable india's lower order looked against our bowlers and then as soon as we started batting it looked like we were playing on a minefield, when it was just the same pitch

on a pitch that had done nothing all day we went out to bat looking like we were just trying to survive and something has to be done about that negative mindset

Hard to be very critical since I doubt apart from Kohli and maybe pujara the indian batsman not scoring too many or quickly against Ashwin and Jadeja.
When root scoring at a strike rate of 35 you know it is tough to score runs especially when Root knows if he gets out england won't score quickly or many either.
should be remembered Root been criticised all series after Rajkot for getting out unnecessarily and stop taking risk for an extra single or boundary.

pretty hard to score runs or rotate strike when Ashwin, Jadeja don't give anything and the field is so hard to score runs that batsman are risking a wicket for just a single only really matter of time till they get out especially if they don't read what ashwin doing, Ashwin was nicely getting the ball to dip and drift with varying differences which caused question marks in the batsman head and that really contributed to Stokes and Cook downfall and ali got beaten by the same stuff but still tried to hit the ball for 6.

Apart from Ali the batsman didn't give their wickets away which should be seen as a positive.
