I had to pop out to the health clinic so missed the Root dismissal, sad that he didn't go on to a hundred once again he's really missed out too often in this series. I said a while ago that whenever Moeen's place in the team is questioned he comes up with a good innings to kill the talk, looks like he's doing it again.

which is actually quite annoying especially moeen scoring 2 hundreds in india.
scary stuff if Moeen the only opposition batsman to score multiple hundreds in india this season.

Still won't change my judgement on his batting or ability to play spin, just get more difficult explaining it to people that look at stats all day.

Amazed Mo got a ton. He looked a dead man walking. Guess the pitch settled down and India needed to make more of that opening session when conditions really helped them. Some runs for JB1 too.

i think root was asking the umpire where he could get some manure from a male bovine for his garden, kohli did give him a bit of an uncalled for send off as well

yeah there was a bell-esque touch to that dismissal, didn't quite get to the pitch to drive it and then didn't commit to the shot and just hit it straight to the fielder
