Top knock Dawson, hasn't looked back since we loaned him to Essex.

Yep Arthur bowling first looked the best choice had the most help in the morning and I expect that to stop as well soon. Looks a new ball pitch as well with the uneven bounce and two pace pitch. Issue is batting looks so easy with the old ball with edges not carrying and the spin being so slow.

Broad hasn't made fifty since he famously didn't walk in the 2013 Ashes in Nottingham.

Karma.

Going to be a lot of backtracking around the internet if Dawson takes a wicket or two.

nah

the criticism was based on concerns over what he had done at domestic level to deserve selection

if he does well with the ball too that'll be great, doesn't mean the concerns over his call-up weren't justified

you'll be delighted if he does well as it will show that flower's approach of picking people based on character pays off ;)

Lower order, especially with Bairstow at seven, has been bailing out England for a while. Though not in this series so much.

Khawaja caught behind, Agars being given caught behind when hotspot showing nothing and Hughes caught behind all would be different now under new rules.

We wont talk about Rodgers ridiculous LBW mainly because Watson had used up the referral :laugh
