what a horrible way to get out on 199

a filthy delivery from rashid, short and wide, and he just slaps it straight to a fielder

would have been a bit amusing if vijay waits over 100 overs to bat after not opening due to the shoulder injury, then got out third ball

Those overs by rashid shows why he should be bowling more only bowler in the english side that indian batsman are actually worried about.

Even as an England fan I would have liked to have seen Rahul get that double - only a few batsmen will know what that feels like - a certain I R Bell springs to mind.

India still in a strong position on what looks like a flat deck.

86 runs will need one session of batting at the most.

50 runs lead should be the minimum target tomorrow.Hope we bat one and a half session to acheive it. :fight

Really find it odd what the reason ECB don't like leach for.
Newman saying dawson won't play a test again so what the harm in Leach playing a game.
Are england seriously still scared of trying new players after Kerrigan still.

Having a look through the bowling figures and something concerns me... im a fan of Rashid i really am... but 0 maidens from 17 overs is poor, no matter how flat the pitch..and worrying that in the last test, they said that he had bowled 3 maidens in a row for the first time in test cricket...that's really not good enough..if he's not running through sides, then he needs to be keeping things tight, and im sorry but going at 4 and a half to the over, in test cricket, is poor.

Hate to be negative but I see India getting an 150-200 run lead and then their spinners making the pitch look very different to the one England are bowling on.

Yep, reckon so. It's amazing how different these pitches can look when England are batting.

Only 88 overs from England in the day, including the extra half hour.
I always say that everybody's right.
