He gives so many runs away, its debatable if his quickfire 50 efforts when they come have any overall positive effect.

79 in 9 today....

As poor as you will see ODI bowling.

I know England bowling isn't that great but Morgan captaincy and in general the way the bowlers are bowling are shocking.
they really need to fix that since I doubt they can win an icc trophy until the captain got some bowlers that can keep it tight or take wickets and generally captain better in the field.

the amount of loose deliveries just asking to be hit is quite shocking tbh

for one which experience player is actually a good ODI player.
KP probably the one that meet the requirement and he wouldn't even get into the team.
Bowlers well Broad doesn't know how to bowl in odi and he won't be learning much of it because he playing Test matches.

Really struggling to see how picking experienced players improve England here.

Looking at today's bowling I suspect Broad may well be back for the Champion's mug.

Truth to tell the way Yuvraj and Dhoni have played on this anyone would have been slaughtered ; but I think there have been too many free boundaries. They just haven't had any sort of control of their lengths .

You could say the same of the Indian bowlers in match one though - they fell part under pressure and allowed England to reach a 350 they really should not have gained from their forty over score.

Going to be 370 -380 which will probably be just out of reach. Who'd be a bowler ?
