Farnes shot down in WWII, only played 15 Tests, but supposed to be properly fast and averaged 28. Maybe he won't make it.

Angus must have a chance. Keith Fletcher? Fleming is going to get in.

Duncan Fletcher, Imran Farhat, Graeme Fell.

I've thought up an F team and it was ok, so there are some better options around than these.

I think Fry was supposed to be a bit rubbish wasn't he?

Also going back, Jack Finnegan could open. Averages over 40.

Not sure at all, was he more renowned for the other sports then?

Maybe he wasn't helped in my mind by that clip of him batting posted here recently... but I don't think he played much international cricket. He held the world long jump record, of course.

26 Tests, two hundreds, average 32.2.

I meant Fingleton above of course. Five tons in 18 games, cut off by WWII, average 42.5.

there are a couple of guys from pre-WW1 that only played around 10 tests and had insane bowling averages, but we were only talking about them taking 40-60 wickets
