India will bat tonight.

True, but we rate Warne so highly partly because he did so well against a pretty clueless England side. Other countries don't see him quite the same.

this hasn't been a terrible pitch as well, no reason really to have seen 3 completed innings for just 750 runs in under 3 days

Yep some crazy stat that Ashwin taken 200 odd wickets in india and only 67 Away from home.
Ashwin not done badly overseas though although hasn't won or contributed to a test win yet away from Asia.

Oh no ...can't have that , Arthur , with respect. Ask SA , Sri Lanka ...really only a modest record in India goes against him. Warne was special.

If he was playing here Australia might still have half a chance.

Of course, Warne is in my lifetime XI. But Indian fans don't hold him in the same regard.

That makes sense - Cricinfo had Saha bowling, but didn't have a bowling style listed for him.

So I looked up his profile - he has never bowled a single delivery in any type of cricket, of provincial level or higher. It certainly would have been a bit cocky of Rahane!
