Keeper's got to be Ian Healy. Can double up as commentator. Braddin on the bench.

Matty would have to bat at three I think. Surely Hobbs and Hutton are certs at the top? Conrad Hunte would have made a plausible opener, but he's behind these three, for me. Hammond about equally batted at three and four.

Hadn't thought of Hall. I had Ryan Harris down as my third pace bowler (don't think Hoggy and Harmi will make it) but Wes Hall is an option.

I've got Mike Hussey at six.

If you picked on stats, the first batter in the team is George Headley. Stats team:

Hobbs
Hutton
Headley
Hammond
Hussey
Hayden (but difficult to get in position so maybe Harvey)
Healy
Hadlee
Herath (Setting minimum wickets at 100, not 150 you get Monty Noble as top spinner)
Holding
Hall (setting the minimum at 150 wickets. If you set it at 100, Harris is in).

Also averaging over 40 (the above are all averaging more than 48): Hazare, Hendren, Hassett, Hunte, Haynes.
Averaging under 30: Merv Hughes. With over 100, but not 150 wickets you get Hazlewood, Hogg.
Spinner- only Carl Hooper and Paul Harris have 100 wickets, but Harris averages 38 and Hooper, 50.
I always say that everybody's right.

Suggested team then:

Hutton
Hobbs
Headley or Hayden (only real reason to leave out George is because he only played 22 Tests)
Hammond
Harvey
Hussey
Healy
Hadlee
Herath
Holding
Hall
