Just think, come Monday evening we won't need to have to face Coad again this season (unless we walk into Yorkshire in a limited overs KO game, and Coad is selected).

Hmm, McManus falls early to Willey. Bad start for us today, and now Abbott and Berg need to again contribute if we're to make 400.

Although that said, it sounds like both Vince and McManus don't believe they hit it.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Doesn't surprise me, i expect the two lbws yesterday were missing too!

A bit of balance redressing after we had the audacity to beat England (i mean Yorkshire) last time out!

Billy Taylor! Your ex-Hants. Stop raising your finger.

Door open for Yorkshire to take control now of the match. As I said yesterday, we could easily be walking out on Monday facing a massive first innings deficit.

Is Topley really a better batsman than Wheal?

Fair enough run out going for the fourth bonus point but this has been a dire morning session thanks to some over exuberant finger raising.

No

His FC batting average is 3.4. In List A cricket it rises to a massive 6.8.

His high score is 15 (albeit that was for us, in that debut innings last year where he broke his hand), and he has hit a grand total of five 4s in FC cricket.

Aside from taking time out of the game (which come day four, could be good for us - or who knows, maybe the opposite), I don't understand what this partnership is trying to achieve. Going absolutely nowhere.

Normally if Berg has faced 69 balls he'd have a 50, only 3 boundaries today, must be hard to score

Getting Rashid on is the best way to advance the game, Berg will fancy it

All nine dismissals have required arbitration by the umpires in this innings.

Hope we get some similar decisions in Yorkshire's innings.

400 up, nice psychological barrier to get past, 15 or so overs to late, but decent total all the same.

So many mini-corners have been turned by us already this season (but time will tell if that continues). This latest one is runs being scored by our tail; not low middle order, but tail.
