286. I think we might concede a lead to them given this will be our first batting innings of series. Saffers are full strength in bowling department (Steyn, Rabada, Morkel).

Will be a pleasant surprise though if we manage to get a lead though.

Rabada my captain for this test has scored some handy runs. So things going as expected thus far in couple of FL's.

I wish Vijay and Shikhar give us a good opening stand or at least see of the new ball if they do not put on a good partnership.Seen off the first two overs without losing a wicket. Good.

Steyn look somewhat erratic. Couple of wayward balls bowled by him in just an over. Consistency of line is missing. I know its his comeback match. Perhaps he will take few overs under his belt to show his usual class.

TBH looking at your comments and comments on twitter, think people are overrating SA attack here at the moment.

Steyn on a comeback match and close to the end, questionable if he can bowl loads of overs.
Philander not the greatest fitness record.
morkel is a threat but oddly enough doesn't tend to take bucketful off wickets.
Rabada is a threat.
A very good attack don't get me wrong but not something that I would place all my money that they will dismiss india for below 250 on here for.
