Can't see any mention of McCarthy in the reports , I'm sure he went off after his second over and I didn't notice him come back on - perhaps he was just feeling unwell because he didn't seem to be limping.

pleased I was able to reverse jinx it :D

That win will do more for the team than anything JJB can do for them. Yorks winning after being all out for 50 and us from 51-6 and following on after conceding 440.

world's gone mad

Markram scored some runs as well...... woo hoo..... I always said he was exactly the sort of signing we needed to make for the first 4 matches of any season :coat

that being said.... 90 runs in 3 matches, says quite a bit about our overseas player policy.

he needs to be the difference in a win at Derby, just to break even on the money he's cost us

Durham losing that would have felt like a season killer. Might give a little boost to their season now.

Squad looks a bit thin still though...

Have to hope Markram fills his boots now that he's remembered how his bat works.

He's only here for one more game ( against Derbyshire starting Friday ) and then Tom Latham is replacing him.
Squad definitely too thin - assuming Potts & Carse are still injured I don't know who else there is. Josh Coughlin probably next in line.

Shoulder injury for McCarthy according to Martin Emmerson so that explains why he wasn't limping ...although he probably will be after Nigel works his magic.

Groin problem with Rushy. So no doubt shortly Rushy will have his arm in a sling and Mac will be limping. :geek:

:lmao
Groin injury suggests he probably won't be fit for the next game.

Not a bad plan! If Colly does have an ankle injury ( and he probably has because he wasn't bowling ) it's another problem. At least Will Smith is there to bowl some tidy overs - did a good job this evening when a couple of bad overs could have been disastrous.

Looks like a pretty strong Yorkshire side. Players with a good deal of first team experience.
