Don't know but that bit in the statement about the club not making any further comment suggests the sacking is about something more than poor form-although I don't think he has scored many runs.

Strange comments from Paul Nixon. Any captain at Leicestershire is going to have a tough job so I'm not sure what he expected Carberry could do. Then again I think Nixon is a rather eccentric character, seem to recall one of his pre-season planning involved getting someone from the SAS to work with the team.

That thought crossed my mind too. He's just the sort of player I'd expect to turn up here.
