reminds me a little bit of the Darren Pattinson selection, where the selectors thought it was a really good idea, but the captain just didn't fancy it and tried to bowl him as little as humanly possible

way back at the end of a grueling, demoralising winter, I said that the discarded Mo would be back in the team in time for the India series, once England had realised against Pakistan that we have no spinners of international quality. Okay they tried to avoid the rather uncomfortable and sad truth that Mo is as good as it gets for England qualified spinners, with an outlandish and frankly ridiculous decision to pick Rashid and so his reintroduction was delayed by 3 matches, but here he is, back in the side and trying to grab his 2nd 5fer of the match, against a side that to all intents and purposes know how to play spin

Well played Mo..... get him back at 8 and stop ssiping about, England/Bayliss/Smith
