Allott jumped into the debate this morning, quoting the laws

And I firmly believe that that is not the best possible pitch that could have been prepared for this game

I assume he's still on the telly, still on CWOTV, and in a good position to make a lot of noise at the weekend

He left Sky when he went back to Lancashire. Might be back soon though because I don't think he's a fan favourite at Old Trafford judging by some of the irate tweets from supporters.

No and they got rid of his show when he left!

but Hants and Worcs feel as though they are fighting, to me, whereas Yorks and Lancs just seem to be on the slide.....unable to find anything to arrest their decline

Hants attack feel to good to go down.

Notts must be struggling if they've not been able to bowl Yorks out yet.

Might be a factor of who gets their England players back?

Yorks have Root and JB1, Lancs have Anderson. Though only JB1 out of those seems to make a lot of difference.
