Has all the makings of a disaster! And the members forum at the end of day 2 - presumably we'll be batting first but the Sussex first innings ( starting around lunchtime on day 1 ?) will probably last long enough to rule out a 2 day defeat for us!
Although - famous last words - I think the Sussex batting can be dodgy so maybe it will be done age dusted by the close on Tuesday.

Sussex travel to Durham for final Championship fixture before Finals Day

The action continues to come thick and fast for Sussex as they head to Durham for their next match in the Specsavers County Championship which gets underway on Monday (10.30am).

Ben Brown’s men go into the match full of confidence after another comprehensive home win against Leicestershire earlier this week.

That victory was their fifth in six games and leaves Sussex in third position in division two, five points behind second-placed Kent and twelve points behind leaders Warwickshire.

Ollie Robinson’s career-best match figures of 10 for 67 took him to 56 Championship wickets for the season, making him the leading English wicket-taker in either division.

There was a fifty in each innings for Chris Jordan, who is on course to play his 100th first-class match against Durham. The all-rounder needs just two wickets to reach 300 in first-class cricket.

Thirteen runs will take Jofra Archer to 1,000 first-class runs, 55 will take David Wiese to 5,000 and 95 will take Phil Salt to 1,000.

Head coach, Jason Gillespie has made two changes to the squad that was announced ahead of the win over Leicestershire with Michael Burgess and Abi Sakande replacing Will Beer and Luke Wright.

Jordan and Archer don't have much to do to reach their milestones but would anyone be surprised of the other two score the required runs for theirs?!
Although if Jordan doesn't open the bowling he might not get the chance to take those two wickets.

A delayed start for bad light is even more ominous. Unless the delay lasts all day ( or all 4 days!)
