Disappointing series result for India though really, but at least they came back from a deficit.

Straightforward win for India, by the looks of it. NCN was expensive, but that Stoinis over sticks out like a sore thumb

Would likely have been 2-1 India but for rain.

Turns out that Foxtel has heard the message that it has to adapt or die, and released a streaming service for its sports content only. I'm actually half tempted. Damn them.

It's not cheap though. I will ignore it.

It is pricey. If they'd knock $10 off and let you pick just the sports you wanted (cricket and rugby union for me), I would be keener.

Is it my imagination or do India fans outnumber Australia fans at these t20s?

without a doubt. Maybe 2 to 1 at the last match.

Many an India supporter living in the country, but I suppose that with the burgeoning middle class in India, many are able to and prepared to travel for their cricket. I can see that being a major status symbol as well - going to Aus, or even the UK, just to support India at the cricket.

and then there is the Aus public's disaffection with cricket at the moment - not only have a lot of fans fallen off the bandwagon due to the balltampering scandal and associated unpleasantness, but the resulting plummet in Aus' cricketing fortunes has kept many more away. On top of that, this has coincided with a major change in TV accessibility - no limited over international cricket on FTA tellie anymore, this results in far less visible build up. Less publicity, less likely to go to the cricket.

I honestly did not know the T20 series was happening until the radio broadcast actually started one evening.

Dire times for Aus cricket right now.

Yep, all that GJ said. There's a large Indian expat community here.

The weather's also been sh1te for cricket in the south east the last week or so. I doubt we'll see any play at all today in the warm-up, Sydney's forecast for torrential rain. Severe thunderstorm and flood warnings have been issued for many parts of New South Wales, in fact.
