Rain off would be ok for Durham.

That's what I thought but according to the DurhamCCC website number of wins is the first decider and then run rate so a point wouldn't be enough.

Same here, I thought run rate would be the first decider but seems not to be.

I'd much rather be playing the under achievers who've already under achieved, tbh.

Yes but our youngsters will be equally keen to impress and retain their places for the CC-and our kids are now hardened veterans with 6 matches experience.
I'm fairly relaxed about the situation-we've exceeded expectations already.

I agree. Qualification would be a bonus and not making it would not take anything away from a very encouraging set of performances. Scott Steel must be in with a chance of opening in the 4 day game.

Gale wasn't joking about a 2nd XI
13-MAN SQUAD TO FACE DURHAM LIONS
Ben Birkhead WK
Tim Bresnan
Harry Brook
Tom Kohler-Cadmore Captain
Karl Carver
Will Fraine
Jack Leaning
Tom Loten
Mathew Pillans
Josh Poysden
Matt Taylor
Jordan Thompson
Jared Warner

Mind I seem to recall Kohler-Cadmore once destroying us single-handed in a T20 whilst at Worcs.

Yes, was that the game where Colly scored a hundred and we made what seemed like a winning score until TKC destroyed the bowlers? He's got a point to prove too after being 'blacklisted' by FTECB alongside Joe Clarke following revelations in the Alex Hepburn trial.

Not really on, that selection. Not fair on the other hopefuls in the group.

Seems he's got a habit of doing us. Scored a mere 164 against last season in RL50.

True-we'd be seething if we were in Lancashire's boots. I suppose Yorkshire can argue that 7 of the squad have been regulars in the tournament this season.
