poor end, but a decent tournament nonetheless

Bangers 377 runs, ave 94, 2 hundreds
Lees 361 runs, ave 90, 1 hundred, 4 fifties
Steel 227 runs, ave 32, 2 fifties
Richardson 215 runs, ave 71, 1 hundred, 1 fifty

Potts 10 wkts, ave 23, econ 5.3
Carse 10 wkts, ave 22, econ 5.4
Salisbury 9 wkts, ave 31, econ 5.3
Trevaskis 7 wkts, ave 26, econ 4.4
Raine 7 wkts, ave 31, econ 4.6

basis for a pretty decent team right there

I think opening with Raine and bringing in Harte would strengthen the side

Can't decide on the remaining batsman. Clark wasn't that convincing opening but he'll get the chance to go again in the T20, while the rest of the top order was so reliable that Burnham didn't have much of an opportunity to do anything apart from drop crucial catches.

Perhaps the biggest compliment I can pay to the team was that Rushy wasn't really missed. I wouldn't have thought that at the start of the campaign

So what changes from the RL50 for the resumption
of the CC? Eckersley for Richardson presumably , but who makes way for Cameron Steel? Put Burnham in the 2nds and tell him to improve his concentration in the field.
Rushy for Potts?
So
C. Steel
Lees
Bancroft
Harte
S. Steel
Eckersley
Carse
Raine
Trevaskis
Sainsbury
Rushworth

Will Bangers keep the gloves for the CC? He doesn't seem to want to open, so why not? It just means fielding a few feet further forward and slightly to the side of where he'd be fielding anyway. From what I saw, his glovework was perfectly acceptable.

Rushy certainly. Salisbury must be at risk with an ave of 34 this season, so perhaps one of Potts or Carse might get an opportunity. I'd keep Weighell

and I'd open with Harte and Lees, and let Cam Steel come in further down the order (leave Scott Steel lurking behind Cam Steel)

Yep, will probably have to be careful with the younger fast bowlers so an opportunity for some rotation ( or when one of them gets injured!) Salisbury had been a bit underwhelming in the first 2 CC games so maybe he's a bit vulnerable but also has a fair amount of credit in the bank after last year. Cameron Steel not been great either but he still looks more than useful to me so agree that he should retain his place on the 4 day side. All of a sudden we have a few selection dilemmas - Richo's one day form has been outstanding so if a place in the middle order is vacant he'd be in pole position. Clark's poor run of form might well sideline him for some time.

Hard luck Durham lads. Bit of a sickener. Better NRR than Lancs, so knocked out by the format. Good effort though. Thought they were going to make it.

Didn't expect Durham to have all those runs in them.

Neither did I. We've batted much better than I expected in this competition - apart from in the two defeats!
