55/4! They're reverting to type.
I'm not sure Harte Burnham and Clark at 3 4 & 5 is good enough. Highlights the need to try and get one more experienced batsman in.

Sounds as if it was a poor decision to bat first!

Durham in trouble here. They're through to the Leics tail.

Tea 93-0. That must be equal to our aggregate opening partnerships all season.

Yep. Pity they can't do it in the first innings but better late than ever!

Bancroft out shortly after reaching his hundred. Rimmington in at 3...should have sent a nightwatchman in to protect him!

Almost 100 ahead with 9 wickets left represents a great recovery but we can't rely on the middle order not making a right mess of it. Eckersley is the only one who is definitely good enough- the jury is out on the rest.

191-1

blimey!

I wonder what changed? Leics only managed 90 runs for their last 6 wickets this morning. Is it as simple as just batting much better second time around? I'm sure conditions can't have changed that much either side of lunch

Sounded as if conditions were still quote tricky for batting but the openers just played exceptionally well. If that is the case it's maybe good and bad news - good because even a modest target might be dependable but bad because there must be a great chance of a catastrophic collapse in the morning! Hopefully Lees will get a big hundred.
The lead is nearly 100 now but would anyone be surprised if the target set is under 200 even with 9 wickets in hand?
