Seems we'll get cricket-most likely scenario RL50 cancelled and/or CC played behind closed doors.

Interesting. If behind closed doors let's hope the streaming works!

Any chance of going up this season?

Maybe counties like Durham who are not in the new competition will find it easier to focus on a more traditional season. Though I suppose a lot of CC2 teams are in a similar position.

Not that much glamour in CC2 this time. Just Notts and Middx.

If the two South African signings can find their feet fairly quickly I think we have a good chance. Coughlin staying fit would help but the chances of that are not good! Plenty of promising signs last year so reasona for optimism.

On paper both have extremely strong squads both of whom vastly underachieved last season. Clearly a breakdown in trust between coaches and players. Yet both retain coaching staff with Notts strengthening? by appointing Kevin Shine.

That bit about the priority being the short-term survival of as many counties as possible is a bit ominous!

thank goodness the ECB didn't look at the £70Million reserves that they were sitting on, in case the Queen died, and decide to blow it all on an untested get rich quick scheme
