Shai Hope has a Test average that's in Kieran Powell and Darren Ganga territory.

Did well over here last time. I remember him getting a lot of admiring posts on CMS.

Not sure that the lack of crowd does any damage to cricket as a tv spectacle. I've not missed them. Been an eventful game though.

Anderson on. If WI get through a five over spell from him here, it would be a big hurdle cleared on the way to 200.

These two doing a good job of rebuilding. Nothing dramatic happening off the pitch lately , with the ball ageing ; but Bess looks threatening. Nearly had an lbw and would surely have had one caught had Stokes not made an enterprising but unfortunately ill advised anticipatory move at slip ...

64/3 . Blackwood more restrained than usual so far. If he cuts loose the runs might come quite rapidly.

Campbell will score quickly, or get out quickly, when he comes back. Moving the game on.

Unlikely WI will get to face a new ball, so thats an advantage for them.

After Anderson's spell, maybe give Denly an over before going to Archer.

Drop by Buttler off Stokes via Chase.

I think England must practice dropping chances off Stokes.

Fifty partnership brings the chase back into the mix...

Long way to go ; but you feel England need to break this pair sooner rather than later. Couple of pretty good bats to come - apart from the limping Campbell.

Stokes not shy to rotate his bowlers. He does have a few options. Even if no "golden arm" Root...

West Indies moving back towards being favourites here.

Doesn't sound as though the ball is doing a lot. Missing a couple of chances doesn't help

I wonder if Campbell has gone for an x ray? There is a procedure in place that would allow him to do so according to TMS earlier. Might mean the WIndies have to jump through a lot of hoops to keep the bio-security in place if he does/has

Chase and Blackwood with a good fightback 100-3.
:hide
Damn it!

Archer gets his third wicket.

Chase out for 37.

100-4
