If WI had bowled even averagely on the first day, the game wouldn't be where it is.

Might still have been useful in the second innings though.

Weirdly his last wicket was two in two balls as well.

England might fall short of a follow on setter. Pitch looks like it's not going to be a nightmare to.bat on. With a washout predicted tomorrow, unless England can add 100 plus runs, draw might be favourite unless windies bat like a catastrophe

Is tomorrow going to be a wash out ? I've heard mixed news...was thinking some time lost but unsure how much...

Would like to see England bowl a solid spell tonight : but they're not exactly racing along at the moment , seems those two wickets have got them back consolidating...

They may have a "number of overs tonight" target in mind , rather than a total ? If so , they'll be hoping the light holds...

Brisk last wicket stand went some way to justifying batting on so long after tea. Plenty of runs , I think. Question will be how long it will take to get 20 wickets - after nearly two days only yielded ten.

West Indies only need a draw to endure they hold the trophy. Wonder if they can play with as much discipline as they did at the Rose Bowl ? They've started solidly enough. The days of Chris Gayle opening are long gone :)

well today was supposed to be dry with sunny intervals up here. 6% chance of rain they said..... it has drizzled on for most of the day and tossed it down this afternoon, so the forecasting is dreadful atm..... or the weather is.

it must have worked for him, because he also did his job by the looks of the scorecard, facing 18 of the 26 balls available. Can't say fairer than that

will he 'do a Dizzy' tomorrow?

Chase 5?

England's propensity to get out to part time spinners who don't turn the ball continues. One day I'll learn to pick them in my fantasy teams. To be fair , a few died trying to add quick runs.

I read that the Stokes Sibley partnership was the biggest in England since the 2011 India series - Bell and KP's Oval marathon.

Beeb weather saying now 95 percent chance of rain for next 2-3 hours, and more than likely continuous till 1900. Doubt we are going to get a significant amount of play today.

Tbf to Atherton the forecast changed yesterday, but the predictions before that were always that Saturday or Sunday would be a total washout.
