Ashwin looks an instant upgrade on the other two spinners. Not sure why he hasnt bowled through the day, surely a spinner should be able to trundle on, maybe with a short break, but we barely seen him this session.

Where is Kuldeep anyhow? Is he injured, or did the Indians prefer the other two? Not seen anything to suggest much quality from Sundar and Nadeem.

I assumed Kuldeep would be an automatic pick, but maybe they wanted a partner for Ashwin who turned the ball the other way, with Kuldeep being a leftie wrist spinner?
