Ashwin probably tired he not exactly the fittest cricketer and got a history of actually not finishing series.
Had massive workload in the first test as well and century yesterday probably took a lot out of him.

Such childish gloating along with unnecessary defaming of "all" England fans etc does nothing to make this board - or your own reputation - much honour , Dr C. I for one have done nothing but praise the outstanding efforts of India's players in this match , in contrast to the poor performances of most England players. Haven't moaned about the pitch either - despite one line of my earlier perfectly reasonable post about pitches and the difficulties around them being rather ridiculously quoted out of context.
Frankly this sort of rubbish is one of the reasons I post a lot less here lately, have half a mind to read a lot less too.

I've just seen the Lawrence dismissal. What on earth was he thinking? Good work from Pant, but I have no idea why he was even playing at a ball fired down the leg side. He just ended up being dismissed in the only way possible off a ball like that

Have to agree - I appreciate that the comments from the likes of Vaughan are irritating but I think the posters on this board are generally knowledgeable and balanced so I certainly wouldn't use sweeping statements that lump all England fans together. I've seen enough of the comments on here to see Eng fans also disagreeing with the likes of Vaughan so maybe time to recognise that Dr C

He regularly ran down the wicket to Ashwin's first ball of the over yesterday so it seemed to be a tactic to try and unsettle Ashwin's length - so Pant and Ashwin planned this dismissal as they expected him to do it again

Root's not only been in great form but he's also getting a lot of luck - was out lbw yesterday, still don't know how that wasn't out, and then Siraj dropped a sitter today. The other Eng batters could do with him sharing some of that luck around
