A shame they wriggled off the hook a bit towards the end. Still in charge but we need a good morning given there's every chance of a collapse when we bat again. Crucial to get rid of them quickly.

tickled gently straight to him, no pace, straight to his hands, didn't even have to move. If that's not a dolly, I don't know what is. The second one flashed straight through him and he could only get a fingertip to it, which hurt, by the looks of it. The 3rd one flew straight through the whole cordon, the 4th one hit the ground before flying through the cordon. All bar the first went for 4 runs. Charmed life, Peter's boy.

All of those lucky escapes probably meant it was good to go off for bad light. Hopefully a break in play will change his luck for the worse!

something about Notts and keepers when playing Durham. Chris Read did it year after year, so lets hope this one doesn't follow suit

It's a tad worrying that when we had them firmly by the stones, our bowling got a little loose and gave them the chance to get back into things a little, instead of maintaining our discipline and keeping them under pressure

I'm being picky, though. It has been an excellent day for us all round

Although Notts scored with a bit of freedom towards the end, part of that was because our dominance in the game meant we could have 4 slips in, which leaves gaps all round the ground, so Notts got full value from any loose deliveries.

Couldn't really have gone any worse this morning! Started it in control and now the game is in the balance and , if momentum makes a difference, it's with Notts!

Game is in the balance, but we should have bowled them out for 100 less than we did and should be in a very dominant position right now. That's sport, I suppose. Not every easy catch is taken and sometimes players hold on to remarkable catches they have no business holding on to

I wonder if a truncated pre-season is a factor, they will be rusty.
Been for a walk and decided not to check the score en route - pleasantly surprised at the current position.
