You're right - when they were 8 down the commentators said he needed to take the last two wickets to overtake Onions.

Yes, he has a few more seasons in him. For the past couple of seasons I thought he might be past his best but was wrong! Suppose it helps him when there's usually a threat at the other end so pressure can be built. You'd think his style of bowling where pace isn't a factor should mean playing into his late 30's shouldn't be a problem. Or even into his 40's!

He certainly could do with a significant score very soon. It's fortunate the rest of the batting is- for once - doing well.
It's also probably fortunate that Will Young didn't leave right now after the Warwickshire game. Very impressive for an opener to get two hundreds during a short stint - many more higher profile players have failed.
Let's hope the weather doesn't ruin this one, I think we want a good go at them after tea 15-20 overs if possible.
