Lancashire struggling after a flying start but with Livingstone set these last 3 and a bit overs could well be crucial.

No, concussion. Substitution like for like. Get changed Ben

Now there's a plan!

It didn't even occur to me that we might beat Lancashire. We almost never beat Lancashire. Getting Buttler out for 0 will have helped

2 and a bit overs left suggests a bit of a cruise, particularly that we didn't subside to 100-8 for once

Raine at 3 still doesn't look to have much merit, but Borthwick at least bowled his allocation.

Carse took a wicket :o and didn't go around the park. He and Trevaskis kept a lid on the run rate

Bedders and Clark are looking like a formidable T20 opening pairing.

I thought Lancs were set for 200 after that opening stand and even when Buttler went they seemed, for a while, still set for a big score. Thought our bowling and fielding were excellent.
After the start we had in the power play I was waiting for something to go wrong but it never looked likely for once. Another daft dismissal from Raine but Bancroft was in control and by the time Bedingham got out the game was done. He is a fantastic batsman, took their attack apart and made it look easy.

So do I.
That opening power play partnership got us off to such a start that their spinners were never likely to be able to wrestle back control ( although I more than half expected they would!)
We're definitely heading in the right direction- throughout the season so far there has been a noticeable energy and air of confidence in the field.

Yep and we should have lost that one by a considerable margin so Raine and the middle order need to get going. Encouraging signs last night that Bancroft has found form but Franklin made a point of saying he thought we lost a couple of wickets too many despite the dominant win.

Forecast isn't good for tonight's game. A washout would solve the problem of replacing Coughlin! The forecast here for Sunday is poor too.

Yes,raining in Leeds and 80% chance or rain until 10pm so game highly unlikely.
Isolation 5 days?
. Actually Gidman isn't a bad replacement for Coggers.
Still only 36 and still playing cricket regularly.Probably remains a decent all-rounder.
Or Cameron Steel-leading wicket taker and best ER in Hants 2nds :hide

Didn't realise Gidman was still in his 30's, he probably would do a decent job if required.
Steel too! In an emergency I'd expect loan signings to be recalled although I guess it might depend on the terms of the loan arrangement.

Yes. I read a preview of the India v NZ test at Southampton where it mentioned Met Office flood warnings!
