Quick 29 and out to Brathwaite for Stokes. Don't know how he was out - with impeccable timing I arrived just after the dismissal!
98/3 after 12 so these last 8 overs could go either way. Bancroft in control at the minute.

Boundaries have dried up in the last few overs. 200 looked on but not anymore. Naturally as I typed that there was a 4! 168 in the 19th over so could do with a few more

Finished on 185. That's a winning score far more often than not, especially here but I think we should have got more.
Will soon find out how good it is.

pretty much in control of the game throughout

brainless innings from Brathwaite... hit on the leg first ball, flat batted six second ball, nothing off the third ball, slapped to Stokes fourth ball.... got to give yourself a chance, surely? I'd be cross if I was a Warks fan... teams pay him all that money for the experience he brings, not for him to throw the game away being stupid. The match was in the balance at the start of that Carse over and by the end of it there was no doubt in my mind who was going to win

and, of course, the fact that Stokes caught him means that there is something there for the headline writers too

Excellent bit of work in the field from Dickson, btw. Running backwards and timing his jump in front of the rope to make sure he could try and throw the ball to Potts to complete the catch. Too far away from Potts to back it up, but lovely fielding nonetheless... great awareness of where he was and who was around him

I'm trying to remember when, if ever, Durham were effectively played 5, won 4.

It was a far cry from my last T20 outings in 2019 when Durham had developed the habit of collapsing from positions of great strength in every single match

Pleased for him. Finally got some runs and excellent fielding. Interesting that he signalled a 6 to the umpires, looked to me as if they weren't going to give it!

I didn't spot that. I had a really good view from above and it looked as though he did everything right to me

He caught the ball in the air and got rid of it before he landed, so why he did that I have no idea. Although there were some noisy Warky fans down there who kept yelling at Dan Mousley all the time when he was fielding there as if they knew him from school or something (and he did acknowledge them the first time before attempting to ignore them) so maybe they suggested to Dickson that he'd trodden on the rope? Didn't look like it to me, though

still...... it matters not
