they are steadily falling further behind the rate, but we look fairly toothless, so something will have to give at some stage
Durhamfootman wrote:economy rates will probably end up being okay, because Kent are now shipping wickets regularly and just trying to knock the odd single, but it was looking pretty grim earlier from the bulk of the bowlers with the notable exceptions of Rushy and Trevaskis
as you say, if we aren't posting a big score, then defending looks as though it could be problematic

Yes, hopefully those younger bowlers are quick learners. I think the commentators said Kent are without their top 6 batsmen. Still, if it's going to be an unpredictable competition it should be an interesting one- be good if some of the youngsters make a name for themselves.

Yes,I was at the game on a beautiful day. The only threat came from Muncie and he's an import; Rushy was simply a different class to any other bowler but,of course, we were without 6 of them. Trevaskis bowls with control and nice flight, he's an exciting prospect. Campbell, when he gets it right, rarely, has potential. Let's hope he's kept well away from Tait. What is the logic of that appointment?- Franklin and North are really beginning to annoy.
